What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Mounted my air compressor and installed transmission cooler.
Question about the transmission cooler. After I added the radiator and ran the truck until it warmed up. then before adding more oil I checked the level and it was at the correct mark. Not sure what the level was before. Anyone who did this, how much oils did you guy have to add after the cooler installation?

they seem to hold up better. but i've just gotten more all metal keys for my truck. aint no breaking them

 

Spooled winch line, wired Rigid light, fixed door handle, picked up Maxtrax, got new snatch block, got d-ring isolators, got new ratchet straps, painted door trim, and added some stickers lol

 

I just replaced the radiator/tranny cooler in my wife's Subaru. I ran into the same situation where the install of the new cooler didn't require any additional tranny fluid. From the research I did, it looked like there is actually only a negligible amount of fluid in the cooler itself and most of it is in the tranny, converter and lines. I'd imagine it's the same for you. Worst comes to worst, add a bit and call it good.

 

Yea I’ll probably drive it around a little and Check the level again and top it off if anything.

Can anyone that has installed a pioneer stereo confirm if I am suppose to hook up the all blue wire(power antenna) to the blue with white strip(system remote control)

looks just like my cooler setup. My experience was similar but keep checking it.

i ended up adding a half a quart I think but it took a bit of driving for it to show up.

 

Sunday drive

 

Replaced the input shaft seal on my trans. Tonight I'm going to reinstall the trans and weld up my "new" relocated tcase mount.

 

Fixed weather stripping on window and busted mirror
