Yeah. That and the freeways suck to travel.

 

They grabbed the extinguisher but the one they had malfunctioned. We jumped in the rigs at camp immediately(I have an extinguisher)and headed that way with a lot of the skinny pedal used. When we got to the trail head they said to go back because it engulfed the vehicle very quickly and we could hear the tires and shocks exploding. It's a big loss and everyone was hurting about it today but we still went about trying to have a good day wheeling and keeping our friend's spirits up.

 

That really sucks. Thankfully everyone walked away with their lives.

 

Note to self: Walmart fire extinguishers don't work

 

Heck No!!!!! One thing you don't skimp on it fire extinguishers!

The zoo is having some kind of lighting this evening.

 

I would have thrown the fire extinguisher in the fire. The explosion might have put the fire out

 

Damn! I thought you were joking. It looked like those left-overs had been there awhile. Glad everyone is ok and hope insurance picks up the tab.

 

Hood was closed and it started in the engine bay

 

How does it just catch fire like that? Must have been a hard crash to puncture something

This is what I am thinking. Or somehow a ruptured fuel line.

 

It rolled over completely once and then came to rest on the passenger side. Everyone is unsure why the fire started and spread so quickly.

 

Could be a few things. Old oil leak onto hot exhaust. Fuel leak.

 

I'l make anything you want special

 

It was definitely oil or fuel on the exhaust cause it started right under the engine. We had time to put it out honestly but the only fire extinguisher we had , didn't work. So all we could do was wait it out.

 

Sand....

 

Could have pissed on it. I' sure there was a lot of drinkin going on
