Mine are the black back ground -- off of a 17 4runner. Either looks good!

I had a 2014 MGM F150 that never grew on me. Different strokes for different folks.

That's exactly what I was thinking of doing except I would leave the Chrome trim ring as it is.

I came very close to buying a 2017 set recently but I agree. Either look good. Mine are balanced well and I also have a T4R 17 x 7.5 spare that is all gray with the same size KO2. Not worth tearing down and remounting and balancing.

I still like the Sport grille. I was thinking of leaving the horizontal bars chrome. Just something to play with. With so many Pro grilles out there it may just be too many. I have no intentions of getting rid of the Sport grille anyway.

No way. That's why I was hooked on buying a Sport.

Lol figured IDK why they just dint make it a TRD upgrade, why just on the pro and sport, BS IMO. Is it functional or just for looks? Never looked at a sport...

Non-functional. At least for now. That may change after it is payed off next summer. Been looking at ducting from other model cars that I can tuck against the underside of the hood. If I can find some flat duct to feed from the scoop to the intake I may make it functional.

Ya thinking about going with one of these, much lighter than stock as well as less headache trying to convert stock sport hood.

    It's too shiny and bright.

I've owned a black vehicle, a white vehicle and a dark green vehicle. All muted colors. I like them better.

    We'll see.

Would you be willing to swap hoods before you trade yours in? I live in Hermiston Oregon and would drive up to Puyallup or wherever you live!

    I’m completely serious.

My father just traded his 2017 Tundra Limited for a 2017 Tacoma Off-Road for many of the same reasons. For him and my mom, the only thing they really miss is the power.

well here it is just before doing the paperwork.

price before trade in and misc fee's and bed cover was $47,796 (which included 1250 rebate) on msrp of 53,130. bonus was I can come back and get a Toyota platinum extended warranty 96m/100k for $1355.

have to recheck the window sticker as they added "tundra" door sills and exhaust tip that wasn't in the original deal. the price was 53,130 for only moonroof, paint protection film and the plain running boards (KG). so it may look like I got those for free.
