    Uh, a tool box
Just curious as to what people are running. My 2004 Tacoma(2wd, base model) was rear ended last week.

Just a bit of a tap, nothing major, but it did dent the shit out of my new chrome bumper. Which I had just replaced like 2 months ago. Glad I went aftermarket for $150, as a new OEM chrome bumper is like $650. Anyways, I conned the guy who rear ended me into $400 cash, no insurance claim, so he was happy as a clam.

This is the 3rd time this truck has been rear ended by the way, dad owned it before me and had a history of people bumping into him as well. Either we are lucky or the rear bumper on a Tacoma is really strong, as the bed/tailgate has never been dented, its still original paint/metal.

Anyways, if I replace the bumper again, its on like bumper #4 Been thinking of beefy off road bumper this time around, if the price is right. Sick of idiots wrecking my bumper, figure the big off road ones can maybe better take a hit.

If you’re looking to spend under $400 then the Trail Gear rear bumper may be your best inexpensive option.

Here is my TG rear bumper. Not too beefy but inexpensive.
