Does anyone have pics of how the longbed bedrack fits on the short bed rails?

Does that mean if I go for the long version on my SB, rear side won't sit on rails? Is that a factory hole or requires drilling? Most importantly, is it safe to set up like that in your opinion? Or go with the intended purpose and buy short for shortbed?

    Thanks,

The rear will still sit on top of the rails, just 12" farther back.

It uses an existing threaded hole.

    Yes, it is safe.
