Only with hot dogs over a campfire. As an adult, we are able to achieve the golden brown marshmallow whereas kids get the scorch the earth black marshmallow.

Reeses smores is always a good choice, ore reeses candy bar on smores. On this last trip we enjoyed the smores on cookies.

So I finally decided that it was time for new lights. My headlights just weren't fun to drive with at night, probably borderline unsafe. Going to be addressing the actual the headlight assembly later on, but for now this was my solution. New Philips VisionPlus Upgraded Bulbs for the headlights and new Baja Design Squadron Sports with the Amber Driving/Combo Lens.

I was pretty happy with the new headlight bulbs, but these Baja Design lights are something else. Needless to say that I won't be changing this set up for a very long time.

 

I feel the same way about mine... I’ve been trying to figure out a retrofit but it’s tough because I want it to look as OEM as possible. I’m not a huge fan of the gaudy looking retrofits.

 

I love my retro headlights. Most useful mod I’ve done.

 

I refuse/don't care for retrofit. I too am not a fan of the look, but the light output is crazy.

My brother's 4Runner has projectors headlights and they're great. I'll probably dabble with LED headlight later on down the road. GTR Lighting seems to be the best out there, but $240 for their Gen 3 Ultra Series LED headlight bulbs is a bit steep.

 

In other news, I figured out why my windshield wiper reservoir pump stopped working.

New pump is in a works fine.

 

I did the upgraded harness to run 100/90 watt off road bulbs. Output is substantially better than stock. Clear lenses help.

That's awesome! Great find! I definitely have to remember that next time I need to replace bulbs.

 

I'm not a fan of halos in the retros of these trucks, but I am really happy with how mine turned out without halos. And the visibility at night is....well, night and day from stock. I'd say it makes the truck way safer when driving at night. Whenever I drive a vehicle with halogen headlights I find myself missing the HIDs

 

I like my halos! Lol plus it’s just more light output.

 

Only thing I don't like about retrofits is the distance is very limited. My moms new 4runner has incredible halogen headlights.. But retros are much brighter no doubt

 

Some people really do like them. The one thing I actually do like about the halos is that you can make them your blinkers. Seen a few people wiring them that way and it's pretty neat. Other then that, I'm rather opposed to them.

Really? I felt like I could see light further down the road in my bother's 4Runner compared to my upgraded bulbs. Only with my Squadron Sports turned on do I feel like I see further than the projectors.

 

Yeah that’s how I have mine wired . It’s pretty cool.
