Yea your hoping the reaction time and positing of the person behind the door is slow enough. If they are waiting with a rifle trained on the door your fucked.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this - however I think this would be more of a surprise entry as opposed to the targets all facing the door.. maybe?

Edit - just read all the following comments haha

That's what I mean, the timing of the people in that video is horrible. They open the door, pause, first guy goes straight in, pause, second guy follows and checks the opposite side. In the delay after opening the door, any gun in that room will be pointed at the door at that point. I'm hoping it's just an amateur, half speed drill and they're not trying to push dillusions that they could do that in real life and expect to survive.

It does look like a lot of fun though. Do you know if they do war games using the paint rounds the military use? That would be a fun way to spend a day!

It depends on the instructions you get as well. It’s tough to retain things in a short 15 minute period where someone helps you get a grouping better. When I first started out I would go with a friend who teaches LTC classes. I had to focus on how I was gripping the pistol and reloading every single time I went to the range I had that odd paranoid unfomftable feeling everytime. My friend would correct mistakes I made and such but never really helped.

From what I hear the Sig classes are pretty similar to the ones I have taken. If you start at the (102)
I found the first full day course I did made me better exponentialy in all aspects but especially comfort. The classes are designed to instill muscle memory like driving a standard transmission. You don’t even think about anything it just happens. From drawing from a holster, establishing a grip and sight picture to reholstering. At the end of that 1st class I was pissed that it wasn’t a requirement to get an LTC Class A I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know or even thought of and felt cheated.

I like my instructor, he remembers where we left off so we don't start over every time. He has me do some fun exercises that I wouldn't have done just going to the range with friends. But I def need to go more often. I might bring my range bag with me every time I know I'll be in the area so I can stop by on my way home from work

The drill eventually comes down to repititon and the speed comes. I’m sure the guys on the swat team have done this hundreds if not thousands of times.

Yeah, that was my point with hopefully they're not selling 'hey, you can do what the swat guys do'. You are 100% correct, it would look a lot different watching a well trained swat team pull off that drill, and rightfully so.

Well the more the better. But first, how long is your barrel? I have a short barrel so I couldn’t use this. It goes past the barrel. This kit adds an extra 3 shells which is awesome for home defense especially if you keep one racked too

Good morning and happy Monday everyone.

Back to the grind. Flying solo this week, again. Co-worker took the week off. I'm thinking of using up my last 4 days I still have left, the week of 12/11.

Bucktales I swapped out the quiver and shot it yesterday. Unbelievable!!!!!!!! It was high left at 10 yards, made the adjustment and dead at 20 yards. I will get by a range at some point to dial in the 30, 40 and 50 with the speed comp

Lmao, only way I am going to a dealership is to buy a larger truck, but if and when that happens I hope to still keep the taco.
