Also....UT fan on my Facebook keeps telling me to “worry about not losing by 20+ points on national tv” next weekend. Does she realize they don’t have a game, or a bowl game to play in this year? Is it supposed to be a diss to tell me to worry about the SECCG game? I’m not getting her logic.

 

I am actually proud of Tennessee on that one. He was a bad choice overall and he was also a coach under pertreno.

I truly expected to drop eggs to you and Bama and end up 7 and 4. I said after the Bama win that I don't care where our season goes from here I'm happy to have been spoil sport to both of you. Now I feel like depending on the kerryon injury and who dresses at rb will be the decision maker this weekend

 

I kinda feel like if KJ can’t go we will be in good shape but then I also remember how bad our o line got destroyed. If we don’t get better o line play it won’t matter who y’all have on offense because we won’t score enough.

I don’t wish anyone to be injured and would hate to hear how we wouldn’t have won had KJ played. With that, sometimes in sports I’ve seen things line up for teams to win so who knows, Maybe this could be our year?

Anyone else realize that Alabama is the only team that is required to go undefeated in the regular season to make it to the playoff bracket?

Alabama ranks 130th out of 130 for penalties called against the opponent.

Go back and watch the games, (specifically LSU) and count how many times the commentators say " Oh, looks like (insert opponent defense here) got away with one...".

Bama fatigue is real yall... Thats ok, as the only team that has to go undefeated to make it to the dance floor, we'll take those expectations. Y'all keep dropping games to Syracuse, Pitt, Troy and damn near Mercer.

Auburn is clicking and playing well right now. Not sure anyone can beat them when they are healthy and play like that. Kinda sucks Kerryon is out for the year.

Alabama's timing on the loss was bad. In recent history they've blown one earlier in the season to make it.

Sure, you say they aren't excuses, but they are comments with Alabama blinders on. Other folks who watch the games don't see the comments by the announcers the same way Bama fans do. All I heard in the LSU game was how much Jalen Hurts has been developed and improved.

Get off your high horse and stop begging for a playoff spot like Saban did. If Auburn wins the SECCG why should Alabama even be able to get in they're already proven to be #2 at best right?

 

Also you mention the Troy loss as if LSU is even in the running? That's stupid. Troy > LSU > Auburn > Alabama. Hm, that's funny how that worked out. Learn to look at things from different perspectives man, Alabama SoS sucks BAD. The only tough games they played Auburn (Loss) LSU (outplayed statistically but scored more) MSU (almost lost) FSU sucks. And committee looks at SoS and conference championship big time, so they say. Alabama will have neither.

Jalen Hurts had improved, simply as a passer as he can now complete passes farther than 5 yards over the middle. However he regressed immensely by holding on to the fucking ball and running backwards when he misses his reads... (lol).

All I'm saying is, Alabama is expected to go undefeated, almost every year. Should they? Probably, with this year's schedule, admittedly.

The playoff committee is supposed to put the 4 best teams in the playoff, right? Not based on anything other than the best.4.teams.

OU? Pretty dominant all year long. Did lose to ISU, who has been beating teams they have no business beating.

Alabama cant help what happened to FSU. That's not on Alabama. They were the number 3 ranked team when Alabama played them. Alabama cant help what FSU does after that game. Same with MSU, ranked what, 16th when Bama played them? And LSU was 19th. Thats 3 ranked teams in the top 20.

If we are using the SoS and CCG, then Auburn would have to be number 1 right now, right?

Bama got spanked... plain and simple. They played like crap and it nailed them. I've never seen them mis-snap the ball this season (probably did a time or two), but to have that happen twice in a row?? Auburn came to play and Bama couldn't get out of their own way.

 

but how do you determine the "best team"? it's by things like win-loss, SoS, conference championships, quality wins/losses, etc etc. If you just based it on "well their final 3 games they've been absolutely dominant" then heck you could put anybody in there. UCF is undefeated, why are they not in the top 4 looks like they have to do more than go undefeated?

Auburn has 2 losses, that's why they aren't higher. The other teams have 0 and 1.

 

All I heard the Auburn game is that he was another Cam Newton. Gimme a break. He's not even close and I think that was obvious on Saturday. Something else that was obvious is how much of a hard on Alabama gives Gary Danielson. The entire game garbage spewed from his mouth. Auburn got away with this, that's not a penalty for me, "We've got to do better on that". Blah blah blah blah blah. Shut up Gary!
