@TacoGreg the grille is held in by the stock/original trim piece so the grille does not have screws nor tabs. However, the screws and tabs on the trim piece keeps the grille insert held firmly in place.

Also you can order the logo through:

    https://www.customcargrills.com/Grill-Lettering.asp

    or

    https://www.ebay.com/p/TOYOTA-OEM-EMBLEM-RADIATOR-GRI-75311-90K00/666537464?iid=302518894852

If you want to just go with the sticker you can get it here:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-2018-...var=485065425263&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

    Hope that helps.

    bravo, nice job!

TBH, your pricing is tough, considering the faux TRD grill is like $140. I don't mind paying a little more to support you, but maybe not twice as much.

Nice work, I like the grill.

I might consider this. I do agree with others, the price is hard to be on board with the faux TRD Grill. Might be worth paying a little extra to be different though.

    Nice design. Looks slick.
Also like how it matches the lower grill insert horizontal lines as well

also, can you post a side view of grille? I can't tell if it protrudes out, like the TRD Pro grille (which is the one thing I don't like about the Pro grille).

Yup, it looks nice too but not spending over $150 for a cosmetic part.

Agreed, hey being a small guy it's one thing competing with a billion dollar corporation that spends millions in design, it's another thing competing when China copies a design and sells it for pennies on the dollar. But I've always just built things for the enjoyment of building/designing stuff.

I'm lowing the price to $239.

Keep in mind this includes free shipping to the Mainland United States. As well that these are an original design and are manufactured in the U.S.A.

Would love to see a side shot. I agree, I don't like how the TRD Pro grill sticks out.

I love how people buy a $40K truck and act like $250 will break the bank. Support Chinese company ripping off and mass producing Toyotas design or support a forum member here in the USA innovating a new product for us that no one else makes. This honestly shouldnt even be a question.

OP kudos to you for doing this and the grill looks great

    Nothing worthy
    Clean and simple! great work.
I'd be all over one right now if you designed it to replace to bezel piece that goes around it.

So I'm still debating... more questions... sorry if I can find the answer on your website, but I'm at work and it's blocked...

    - So just to be clear, the surrounding bezel is *not* part of the grille? So, say I have an OR with chrome bezel, I will need to paint it? How do you suggest I get a matching bezel?

    - Second attempt, please post a profile shot that shows how far the grille protrudes forward. Thanks.

Hands down the best looking aftermarket grille I’ve seen so far. It looks like it coulda been OEM (pay attention, corporate), it has a rugged appearance, improving the look of the front end. It’s minimalistic but looks tough. Near perfection. Nice work, OP.

I’m on board with your pricing. I think you’re doing just fine. The $140-160 grilles coming from China come with the risk of arriving broken, cracked, damaged, etc. I hate to imagine trying to return one.

The same sellers are apparently shipping different grilles mid-run (single sellers sourcing from different suppliers?). I’d imagine the quality isn’t quite up to the same standard as yours. Just a hunch.

And I’d imagine I could call you on the phone if I really wanted or needed to. Should yours arrive damaged (which it likely won’t), I bet you’d have a new one out to me STAT?

$239 sounds like a pretty good compromise. Plus, I think yours looks better! Nice work.

Through eBay it's ridiculously easy. They side with the buyers 99.99% of the time. There's no risk getting one through eBay.

Thanks for the compliments, as far as quality goes I did the best I could with what I have.

Due to China having tons of $$ tied up into the tooling and the sheer volume of their knock-offs will give them capabilities (such as thicker plastic) that I won't be able to touch on unless the order numbers are substantial.

However, I do strive to provide the best customer service possible and yup you can call my cell anytime and I would be happy to ship you a new one if there were some defect.

So yes the surrounding grille bezel is the stock one. What I recommend doing to get a matching bezel is just using some plasti-dip and paint the stock one you're grille came with.

I agree there is increased risk involved with overseas shipping. The majority of Chinese produced Pro style grilles purchased through eBay have arrived in good condition according to posts by Tacoma World members, although many have arrived with broken tabs and a few with paint blemishes. I only recall one Tacoma World member filing a return and the process seemed streamlined as he described it.

The price drop should make this grille more competitive. As I stated before, I like the look. It’s quite reminiscent of factory installed “Toyota” grilles from decades ago. I hope it sells. If I have to wait much longer for my grille to arrive from China, I will strongly consider this one instead.

I like the view from the side. It’s not flat like the factory TRD grille and not extended as far outward as the Pro grille. Good middle ground. Continue to post photos to help persuade prospective buyers.
