Yeah and I could of removed it.and kept it because I thought it included black out tail and headlights. Now I paid $399 for maybe $50 worth plastic dip. Too late to change it now

Oh well, nothing to worry about. Lesson learned. Toyota charges about $2500 retail for the blacked out head and tail lights.

If I am not mistaken the Factory darkened Pro Headlights are insane expensive, like $1000 each.

That’s correct. I really want some, but don’t want to pay that price. The tails are $300 for an OEM pair.

Hopefully it is the NOX LUX kit and not just plastidip. But that set retails for $100 so still not a good deal.

Not when they realize that their exclusive color will be available on all TRD trims for 2019.

Can anyone confirm if they're manufacturing DC OR LB's with the Premium tech package yet?

    Not much stock left.
Dealer told me last week that the '18 TRD Pro headlights and tail lights wont fit on the '18 OR's b/c of the new design. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this? He said normally, it would be X $$ to add, but they can't do it b/c they won't fit. :notsure:

I think you can do that with the Rav4 also, seen black badges on a ad. Might be an across the line option.

Someone should start a Gold Out trend like the Lexus badges. See if Toyota follows suite.

I’ve got the blackout package on my 17. I think it’s pretty cool. But why would it come with a chrome grill still... stupid lol

Black emblems on a chrome grill, that's a head scratcher.

I'm not sure why the TRD OR 3rg has color matched mirrors and door handles.

I don't think it looks bad, I think the black trim would look better with the black OR flares.

Because unpainted mirrors and door handles look cheap. The flares are black because they figure painted ones would be thrashed while wheeling. I personally like the OR's looks over the sports.

That's why I thought the door handles and mirror caps would have also skipped the paint booth.

OR trim level is my preference.

for those interested, the master price thread has been updated with invoice/msrp and the new funky package variable pricing based on OR/Sport model codes
