C9B50BB5-59CD-4A0E-86FD-64468BA658C1.jpg Hey guys does this sound like a decent deal or bust . I found this beauty it’s a 2015 dc sport 4 wheel drive auto with 24500, miles 1 owner. It still has factory warr and it’s also comes with lifetime warranty from the dealer. They want 29,999 for it so out the door it would be around 32,500

that's a little high on price. I paid that for mine truck a year and half ago with half the miles. TRD Sport etc. Question comes down to what you actually want to pay for it and go from there. $30k for a 3 model year old truck is a little much considering you can get a 2016 or even used 2017 for that price. They probably paid $24k for it so toss out a $25k offer and go from there. worse they can do is say no

Yea where I live they love to jack up prices but I’m too tight to give in to them .You are right the 3rd gen prices are close to that

not a deal, but it is right in line with what's being offered. I would try and bring the OTD price down to $31500. Or the asking price to $29k even.

I will try to do 30 OTD. That’s where I will start. Anything over 30 is a bust in my opinion

If 30 OTD is the bust point, I would try to go 1500 under that on the first offer. Gives you some wiggle room. A lot of places don't like the "best offer is the only offer" or they'll try to talk you up from the 30k.

Standard factory warranty usually runs out at 25K miles and 2 years(I think) so really all you have left is maybe an oil change and tire rotate unless they are offering more.

Not apples to apples but, I paid 28 OTD for my 2013 in 2013 with everything that one has minus 4 wheel drive. 4 wheel drive was an extra 1500-2000 I think.

It may, I don't remember anymore. Basically had my truck for 5 years now so its been a while. Would be good for OP to ask what was included with warranty though for his own knowledge.

Lifetime warranty's usually come with a ton of stipulations, make sure you know what they are.

I agree... Tell the Dealer to remove the Lifetime warranty and you'll pay $25K OTD

    my build tread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/socal-no-shame-poser-build.513084/
Just for comparison i had numerous 2016/17’s used at dealers for 32 out the door had my pick of white blue or grey. When i got to dealer i ended up going new for not much more a month so i woukd say its just a tad overpriced and should be around 30 out the door. I just traded my 2015 20k mile truck into dealer they gave me 26500 for it. So you assume they got that one for around that Price and there making 3400 or so off truck if they sell to you for 29999

@lynlan1819 it was only 25K when I bought my 2013 Tacoma in 2013 and 25K on my wife's 2017 4runner we bought this year. Maybe your dealership offered a slight extension.
