    We had this PVT drop on us straight from the schoolhouse. Being the rest of the Platoon was fresh off a 6mo rotation split between NTC and JRTC and back a couple times... he had a hard time finding his way.

    That is until one dark and stormy night in western Washington... when we braved the evil weather and pushed our way to dollar beer night st the local watering hole. PV2 who fucking cares walks up to the crusty group and says, in an infantile way, "can I come along guys?" We laugh until he says, "I don't drink and like fat girls."

    Everyone stopped and looked. Someone started a record just to screech it to a halt... and forever would this kid be considered one of us!
