Get a Costco tree bro, real trees FTW

 

We went Saturday up to the rim and got ours. My brother even went and got a permit the same day at the ranger station off 260. It was a great time and got a great looking albeit small tree this year. It's the one the little lady wanted.

 

We went out and cut ours on Black Friday, like we always do. Prescott NF had a deal where if your kid had a Every Kid in a Park pass (free National Park pass for 4th graders) they gave you a free tree permit, don't know if the other forests are doing that as well.

 

Yeah, I know. However, Amy is leaving town next weekend. So our allotted time before Christmas is running out. Seeing we don't do anything Christmas until after the 29th, it limits our time too.

Our fake tree is in the attic, easy-peasy.

 

Buy yourself a deep freezer & fill it up

 

All pork? Have a new smoker coming on Friday, so might go pick some up even though I rarely eat Frys meat these days.

Plug as many holes as you can but leave one hole open on each side of the yard/house. Take a hose and start filling the holes with water. Wack the shit out of them with a shovel once they pop their head out. That's what we did when we moved into our house when I was a kid with my dad. It was kinda fun actually. We only had two to deal with, if you have a lot it might not work.

 

The gas works well, but smells awful

 

I like this idea, but probably wouldn't work for the prarie dogs we have up here, be difficult with 2.5 acres.
