    Gents,
I'm hoping someone in here can help me out. My dealer just offered me a '17 4-door automatic limited with tonneau cover and tube step for $41,500. Is this a good deal considering its a '17? I suspect its not a good deal but can't get any counter offers from other dealer, I was just told Toyota inventory is currently down. I was going to wait for the '18s but I start a road trip (work) next week and can't wait.

What is the MSRP on this truck and is the 41,500 out the door, or Is it 41,500 plus TTL etc?

    It's $41,500 out the door.

Out the door is hard to use for comparisons because TTL varies so much from place to place. Let us know the price before TTL and we can help.

The dealership refused to give me the MSRP because they were getting vehicle from another dealership in order to sell to me, that's why I was suspicious of the "good deal".

You can always wait!! Rent a car for the trip. I'll never understand why some think the dealership will pass a potential buyer up. Have confidence when you talk to salesman and tell them to call you when they want to sell. They want your business and realize there are thousands of other trucks on the market you can buy. It's always better to take your time and research other dealerships.

Tell them you're not going to buy a truck without knowing the MSRP.

    That's ridiculous.

Thanks for the input everyone! I thought it was suspicious that their quote for the'17 was off by about $700 on a '18 Sport with some better features.

What he said....that shouldn’t be secret info. That’s what those big white monroney stickers are for. I would probably go somewhere else. Try a dealer that isn’t trying to play games to squeeze you for more money.

Do you know what dealer they were getting it from? If so, find it on the other dealers website and arm yourself with info.
Besides, they can't refuse to give you the MSRP, that is public information.

    I don’t mind paying full MSRP on a pro...the 5 and 10k “market adjustment” I just can’t understand though.

I concur man, don't understand why dealerships tend to get greedy and charge over the MSRP.

    Not much stock left.
I'm anxiously awaiting a 2018 build thread. I've put a deposit down on an '18 Cement, but the dealer isn't helping much. Now they are telling me you can't put an '18 Pro grill on an '18 OR. These f'krs aren't up to speed on the '18's. I'm curious to see how all this new safety jizz is going to work out on a modified truck. Realign or disable the camera, radar, or whatever the hell it is that needs so much real-estate on the front grill? The dealer is clueless.

Well If this means anything. I'm from the bay area, CA and got a 17 trd OR long bed automatic out the door for 38,500. No cover and no tube steps. Best deal I could get given I wanted white and a long bed with double cab which was somewhat rather hard to find around here.
