TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

I probably wouldnt do it. I doubt Gadget would help you get it setup for your mods

 

I no he wouldn't. I can get the tune for trd supercharger. Just wondering if I could tune my self for smaller pulleys and other mods. I'm down for trying. Just don't wanna blow my motor. I really wanna get into tuning. But I still like have a reliable truck

 

Another vote for Vise Grips. Not like it matters if you bugger up the threads....
We tried the 2 nuts method - ended up not being able to fully thread the second one on & then dropped it into the neck of the coolant connector. Thank goodness for 'magnet on a bendy stick'!

 

haha yea I didnt know how long that stud was. . .glad ya got it out!

Looks like between vice grips and torx sockets I'll be good

If urd didnt get itronix to do their thing, what would ppl do after the apr/urd breakup?

Meh. Already got a stand alone, aem infinity.

 

You'd have to check, but pretty certain it plugs or wires in the exact same way. Then in the file, you have to turn it on.

Still good. Just only has support from members who own them. Lucario Runner still runs it his T4R. With very few issues.

You just have to make sure that the owner you are thinking about receiving it from has the same components that you do, or you'll have to mod to his level to match.

 

i went on apr website and they still have links to download. the have a trd supercharger tune. would that work enough to get everything running and then be able to fine tune it my self for smaller pulleys and everything?

 

Hate to sound like a gossip queen, but what was the story behind the partnership of URD/APR and their eventual break up? I've always been a bit curious about the story....
