Oh youve had the pleasure of dealing with Andy? At first he seemed like a nice guy but then he kept asking for money in advance and deposits before the job was done He tryed to gouge me on part prices so i told him i would get the steering rack my self because i had the hook up at a toyota dealership. He said that was no problem. Then today when i told him i found a new OEM rack from our local toyota for $645 instead of the $1200 he tryed to charge me he said he was going to charge a 10 percent markup on labor now because he didnt get to mark up the parts then told me thats the way it is and that hes "in the buisness of making money" then called me buddy which i fucking cant stand so i said thats funny im in the buisness of saving money, hung up and drove over ther and took my truck out. He just lost a 1500 dollar job by trying to weasel an extra hundred out of me for no reason. He also had to pay me back 100 bucks he tryed to sneak in there for no reason Plus hes lost my buisness for life. i had originally been exited i found a good shop to get all my future work done at. Theres a place called Automotive Artistry on Lacey Blvd and that guy said hed do the job for 4 hours labor where as Andy wanted 12 hours.

Good on ya man! He not only lost your business, but anyone you help steer clear of his shop. Like I tell shops/dealerships: I want you to make a profit, just not all off me.

Also, the wheels I was thinking of were these: https://www.methodracewheels.com/products/105-beadlock-machined
Obviously the color is off but I have seen these in bronze and they looked similar. I am looking at black wheels with the red lock ring.

    Hey man,

Been watching your videos for a long time. Always enjoyed your hands-on approach to your truck mods. Love your truck.

Damn that's shady.. Labor alone is where shops make money, why would he care so much about a few more bucks.. especially now after losing a customer and others who you know, not worth it.
Fortunately I haven't had any big projects for them to do, if I do I won't be going there to get ripped off though

Dude wtf. I just had a similar experience this weekend for my daily driver. Best part is when they try and bold face fuck you thinking you can't smell their shit. I even wrote my first Yelp review warning people to stay away.

None "required" (as plain as people say it is, I do enjoy coors light though :p) haha Let me know ahead of time when you decide to do it so I can deconflict and I'll bring whatever tools I have to help (more cant be bad).

Yea they did look pretty slick. And yea I think so, once the wallet fills back up after the recent upgrades

I'd be down to come down and help depending on which day. Have to break my gears in so need to drive the cruiser anyway once I fix my wheel bearing.
