ok guys did some searching and can't really come up with a satisfactory answer. I'm looking at getting new tires and i'm leaning towards the cooper at3. but my question is that since i'm suppose to put 46 psi in my tire (according to the neat little stick in the door). Should I get the c rated ones that are good for 50 psi or the e rated that are good for 80 psi? I do have about an extra 200lbs in tools in the bed at all times also.

oh i have a 2013 baja with the fake beadlock rims

46 is a lot.. Even with the extra weight of my armor, tools, parts(spare driveshaft, CV axles, etc..), and fully loaded for camping, I only run 40 in passenger rated and E rated tires.

    Your sticker is wrong.

Only reason I see, in my opinion and limited tire expertise, for running E or D load tires on a small truck like a Tacoma would be for off-road low PSI ranges and additional structural integrity to help prevent flats while driving on rugged terrain.

Thus, my Cooper ST MAXX in E load. I still run them at 34PSI - because that's what is A) Wearing them properly B) Most comfortable.

I've got steel plates under everything under the truck, bumpers front and rear, winch, sliders, topper, roof rack, dog, dog kennel... so heavier than the average Taco.

Yeah I thought it was a little high but I remember seeing somewhere that toyota changed the psi stickers on my style truck to say the 46 psi and mine has that sticker.20171127_214818.jpg
