That's exactly what I've done. I actually have a set in my garage right now that I ordered during the DTD eBay deal I'm hoping to install this week.

Needed them in a few days based on my schedule. Ended up going with Tirebuyer. Paid tax only them but got 4 LT 265 70 17 for 654 delivered to installer

I fully agree and was going to mention this to you in an earlier post. Here the DT has two new road force machines but they seem rarely used by the techs and collect dust. The guy who sold me the Haweka adapter (yes I bought it because have also had balance problems) told me he encountered the same thing in a tire place...the staff just did not know how to calibrate and use the road force machine. So in theory the road force machine in combination with the Haweka adapter will give glass smooth balances it is all meaningless if the tech is not adequately trained and comfortable with the machine...

    A couple things
I found out they are not deer antler resistant tonight.

On a 4 lane road, inside lane, deer darts out ahead of me and just plows headfirst into the side of a car just ahead and in the other lane. Bounces off and goes under my truck, rear passenger tire goes over him, and an antler rips a hole in my sidewall I can put three fingers in.

Luckily I did get the replacement certs.

ETA-it’s dark, but as far as I can see, no damage to the truck or the wheel, just killed the tire.

Well, I purchased a set of 265/70/r17 about two weeks ago. Love them so far, can feel them grabbing the ground in front of the wheel. Much better than Wrangler SR-As I had put on my 2000 Jimmy back in May.

First semi-long trip (~10hrs roundtrip) coming up. Will report back. And need to post more so I can post in the marketplace...

So I'm interested in (4) 265/70R17 Wildpeak , whats the final cost ? I see the $75 here and the $60 there . On the Web site it says up to $320 on Visa pre paid cards . How much can I get these tires for delivered to my house or DTD store ?

It’s ‘up to $320 savings’ on select tires/wheels.

$100 off select tires + $100 off select wheels + $60 prepaid card on select tires when purchase is made using a DTD credit card + $60 prepaid card on select wheels when purchase is made using a DTD credit card = possible $320 in savings

Go to the website and put everything in your cart to determine your final price. You won’t get the $60 prepaid card unless you have and use/or apply for and use a DTD credit card.

Just a heads up, ordered from simpletire.com and recieved a free $50 Amazon gift card with a order over $500. Took about 1-2 weeks to get the gift card. I ordered a set of P285/70/17s shipped free to my door for $623.

I did Tirebuyer. 4 tires LT265 70 17 for 153 a tire plus tax and delivery in 2 days for free. Needed them there that soon for install in visiting city. Like 630 something out the door plus install. The appeal of direct tire wasn't there since won't live anywhere near one for lifetime rotation. Would have taken a week to get them delivered and also waited on phone for 30 minutes unsuccessfully trying to get them to match price. Said screw it not worth it.

So delivered to Firestone, installed including TPMS will be 725 about

Does anyone know if the P265/70R17, part # 28034300 is being discontinued? Simpletire.com has 10% off through Monday. Really interested in these tires. Thanks

LT 265 70 17. Just drove 500 highway miles on these. Minimal increase in sound. Really don't notice difference too much from stock which is good.will need to wait a month to test out in snow.

How was your experience with tirebuyer? I work for American Tire which owns the site and I've only heard the side of shops that do the mount/balance.

Just ordered a set of LT235/85r16, I'm excited to get ride of my super loud dynapro MTs
I don't see this size tire talked about much, but i think its an exceptional tire size for our lighter trucks!

And I ordered them from DTD for $552 - rebates of $135 so $420 a set and I've got a shop that mount balance for $9 each!
