    Funny thing is Philly L&I has gotten cleaned up quite a bit. Not what it was 5-6 years ago when a few Benjamin’s could get them to look the other way.

    It is far from perfect but I will say that it seems that a lot of the corruption that was rampant with in that area of city administration has been weeded out.
    There still a ton of red tape to contend with however that’s pretty much the case with any large city.

    Full disclosure: I do not own the Bosch but it will be my next one. As Dave mentioned, definitely get one that you can mount in a table. Some 3rd party table manufacturers don't support all the different brand routers. Typically, they support the latest Bosch, Dewalt, or Porter Cable models. The Bosch table you can get at Lowes will support just about all makes. Mine has a Skill in it currently but the 3rd party table I have won't support the skill, so I have a Dewalt in it.

    And by support I mean the mounting hole pattern...because god forbid they all get together and use the same pattern for three screw holes. :annoyed:

    I looked at the PC because of my first buffer. Dependable and built to last. The cost for a PC with desirable features is close to $260

    The Bosch is more affordable at $185. I have never owned a Bosch power tool. The reviews are good for both routers. I like the idea of still having some cash to buy a decent assortment of quality bits.

    My son is just starting out in woodworking but I intend to use this tool when needed.
