I confuse easily

 

What's the latest I can show up and not miss you guys? It's going to be a late night before

AH FAK! I'm the one that's confused then. Thought for sure it was the 9th. My bad peeps!

Can't make it this weekend. Got stuff going on both days. Saturday going to pick up my cap, and Sunday going to do a Polar Express thing with a bunch of our friends because of the kiddos.

 

My buddy calls that 'Parent Brain'

 

He's not kidding. Seems like since our oldest was born I can't keep track of time, or what I have going on.

Days just roll into each other... things going on all the time, weekends pretty much shot.

 

There aren't many people that has actually worked out for... Even the ones that think they've laid down the law early, check back with them after a couple years of marriage and see who's running the show!

This sounds oddly familiar to how my GF sounds. I'm hoping to convince her to come on that waterfall tour/camping next summer so she doesn't think all of you are murderers figured it would be the most non-truck orientated even she would go for.

 

I think I'm on track to break an email record today...

Co-worker took this entire week off. yesterday I ended up with about 250 or so inbound emails by the end of the day.

Right now I'm already at 98 and it's not even half way through the day... and things tend to get busier in the afternoons.

 

I was off all of last week. The company was closed on Thursday, and I came back to 3700+ emails yesterday morning.

 

DANG.

Do what my co-worker does... he even warns peeps in his out of office. He comes in and... DELETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do that every morning. I filter by the sender and there are a few that I just clear out. We have a couple people in the office that copy the entire office on EVERYTHING. I even told them, I'm not responding to you, I sit next to you, if you want something, talk to me. I'm not your boss, I don't need 100 e-mails a day from you showing me that you're doing your job.

 

The part that kills me is when they get your out of office, and still on the same day that you're out, email you and only you. Idiots!

 

A lot of them I can delete, but I have to check almost all of them to make sure I don't need to do some sort of follow-up. I get copied whenever a customer in ME, VT, NH, or MA places an order online, because if the tires are backordered or being transferred we have to call and let the customer know. We're a $300+ company now, so there's a LOT of those emails. Plus I get CC'd on every return that gets put through, but (thank god) I've got those set up to auto-file so they don't count. And then there's just the general correspondence emails that come in.

I've actually gotten another 27 emails while I've been typing this, lol.

 

Morning TW. My boiler has a small leak, I've got an estimate from my service company to fix it, but before I spend the money with them, do we have any HVAC/Plumbing Professionals in the group local to Worcester and licensed in MA?

 

Those "automated" CCs you can probably just delete, no?! Unless you need to do something with every single one, than that's a different story.
