    Thanks for the heads up. Does Power Stop make a rotor non slotted and drilled for are trucks that are running bigger than stock size tires?

    I think so. However, unless your rotors are warped, you dont need to change them out.

    I Know but I think there pretty fucked already from going from hot rotors to puddles warped them and the mud also doesn't help.

    Just get some rotors that aren't drilled and slotted.

    Unless they are gouged really bad, just have them turned by a good machine shop. I'm assuming you've never had them turned before so there should be plenty of meat left on them to get them true again.

    Also, with the rear brakes, after you pull the drum and get everything cleaned off, take a crap ton of pictures to show you how everything goes back together. And get ya one of these if you don't already have one...

    I think I have a brake spoon. Ill look into machining them but sometimes its just as much as buying new ones.Ill do some homework.

    Why are you doing the rear brakes? I've never had to replace rear brakes on any vehicle I've owned.

    Should only be about $20 per side, which should be a lot cheaper than new ones. However, if you take them to a shop that doesn't know what they are doing, you could end up buying new ones anyway.

    Im pretty sure they are worn from caked mud being in there. Ill do a inspection of the shoes before I replace them.
    Ill definately look into it and see if I can find a reptuable company to do the work.

    one of my cylinders rotted from all the mud and leaked all of my brake fluid out. didn't have brakes so had to have it towed home. Luckily @Taco No Baka helped me out in replacing them

    Jesus man...I cleaned them out shit like 8 months ago. Ill clean them and and check the thickness. Ill see if I can find the spec of the thickness on a new set. Im sure they are below 50%

    That's why I pull the brakes apart and power wash all the crap out of them after every wheeling season. :thumbsup:

    Pressure washing is a good idea can you use any kind of anti rust prohibiter ? Or maybe ill pressure wash then use the air compressor and blow off the excess.

    They get plenty wet every time you go through water that's deep enough to submerge the bottoms of them (off-road or flooded streets, etc...) so I don't get too concerned about that, but if you want, you can always squirt them off with brake cleaner afterward to displace the water and dry them out...or like you said, blow them out with shop air (edit: but brake cleaner would be better since airborne brake dust is bad news :D).
