The new bolts are barely maybe a 1/4-1/2 an inch longer.

I did read what you copied but that’s taking about the nuts on the bed being reused not the cab bolts. At least that’s the way I understood it.

I think I’m just gonna go buy some longer bolts for the rear cab mounts and be done with it

can you swap the middle/front position bolts for the rear position bolts? I haven't used the Daystar so not sure what sizes are there. Maybe call wherever you bought it from and have them send you longer bolts?

There are body mount issues that transcribe to bolt length. Measure the length you need and go get grade 8 hardware.

all bolts in my daystar kit were long enough. did you use factory washer and have it seated completely in the tabs?

You can see in his photo that he has also replaced his body mounts. This may be the issue with the body kit bolts.

Okay, but that does not count for the 3 different styles of body mounts that are available for that position. The company does not have an accurate cross reference chart. They sent a one size must fit all. I got a Daystar 2 inch body lift. It did not include body mounts. I had to get new bolts for position 3 and Daystar refunded me 15.00 for my trouble.

Ha, you got me there. But the stock body mounts do cross the years so one could have the same situation happen. I did not want to fab my own body mount set so I ordered what I could. It all worked fine but the fuel filler being different. All the other components are mostly the same. I had to carve out my lower plastic bumper and raise the bumper reinforcement behind the plastic. It was no big deal. Another problem that myself and some other 03 double cabs are having is the N fab side steps are not bolting on perfectly. I think it has to do with body mount 3 being different. The N fab side steps do not line up with the mounting location at this position. The alignment pin is an inch or more to high.DSC00260.jpg

Motto: Don't buy the Daystar product. I know of no one purchasing the 4Crawler body lifts ever complaining of incorrect hardware. Maybe more $$ up front, but no hassles with the product received.
