Aren't those leafs rated for 3" of lift unloaded? And with several hundred pounds in the bed you have about 2" of lift. Sounds normal to me.

Also, superbumps compress to less than half their unloaded height, unlike the stock bumps. They're not the issue here.

I contacted them and told them what my plans where they told me the expo would be too much. The recommended me to go with the standards.

But even so with the standards and just a tent they should be sitting a little taller I would think. But then again idk

Get a leaf pack that is better suited for your application.

No super bumps are great and I understand they compress a lot. Yes they are rated for 3 inches of lift but I’m not running several hundred pounds. At the moment it’s just the tent. Mt bachelor is hardly 100 lbs.

That is why I called and spelled out what my plans/ intentions where. When a company tells you what route to go with their parts I would think you follow their advice.

If it makes you feel any better I think All Pro is having issues with their leaf spring manufacturing. I recently bought their expedition 2.0 springs that are supposed to carry even more than the original expos. They advertised up to 1200 pounds while maintaining 3" of lift.
I installed them with an empty bed and just a rear bumper with swing out and they fit great with the perfect amount of lift. I added my truckvault and fiberglass shell and they went flat.

I have been emailing them back and forth over the last month or so trying to get them to warranty them. Sounds like your standard leafs are exhibiting the same issues as mine.

That makes me feel a little better but also disheartening at the same time.

Yeah a little frustrating. I have faith they will figure it out and make it right but they definitely need to do a better job on quality checks or watch what they advertise.

Dakars with Timbren bumps. I bought the leafs used so I’m not 100% positive but it looks like they have 2 overload leafs.

On a side note, does anyone know the overall height difference between Super Bumps and Timbrens?

Hope you get this all sorted out OP. The leaf pack definitely shouldn't be that flat.

Thanks hope so too, no expert on this by no means but that’s my thought too. Just have to wait I guess until allpro gets back to me.

The leafs are already negative arched. If allpro doesn’t want to help I would drive up to Phoenix and go to valley spring and axle with your tent on and tell them to re- arch the pack and make them stronger. Or swap the whole pack out for something different.

I came from Dakars, they will hold the weight much better, the All Pros definitely flex better though and are a better ride. Dakars are good though for what they are.

I don’t think he’d need the AAL for just the tent and bed bars. If he had a shell and loaded all the time maybe.
