    good call on the waterproof. I attempted to use my winch this past weekend, (have it on a breaker, and its off when not in use) and it just unwound without any input on my end. tore it open and there was a lot of water in the box, likely from that windrock trip in the spring, last time I used it. dried it and cleaned terminals, and sealed it back up. works now........

    It's just like the one I had on my truck. I was having problems with it sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn't. Everybody talks bad about 4wheelparts but I call them about it and they told me to bring it back and they had me a brand new one. I have had that one for 2 years, got a new warranty for another five years too. When I was taking it off I went to undo the ground cable and the nut spun. So all that was wrong with it was a ground cable not tight. They told me to bring it back anyway.
