Nah man, me and the Mrs. aren't going to have any. Neither of us ever had the urge to have them, plus we can barely keep ourselves in order. Having any of our own kids would be a complete tire fire. :bananadead: The biggest problem is we both have stupidly stressful full-time jobs and a house full of work that we're trying to work through while living in it. Trying to figure out how we can swing job changes and a move closer to (or at) the beach to maybe not have ourselves in so deep, but either way kids just aren't for us. We're more like the awesome aunt and uncle that the kids always wanna have visit.

But total respect to anyone who does it and does it with love and responsibility (sadly not something you always see). Everyone on here always talks you up so I'm sure you'll rock it. Every situation is different but if I had to guess I gotta agree with some of the other guys on here that you'll manage to get back to some of your hobbies soon enough.

All this talk about baking + holiday season is gonna get me back into the baking mood (modern masculinity FTW). I normally make a mean apple cake for Thanksgiving, but it was too crazy this year. Maybe I'll whip up something cool for Christmas and post some pics.

How old are you? We used to have the same sentiment but it seems the tides have been turning in the past couple years.

@JLink used to or still does have his tent under his soft topper... @ChamYota had SOS make a bed rack that goes over and works with the best top.

You'll have no free time for 8 months, taking care of kid and wife.

You'll have very limited time for another 16 months, because your time scale for everything wife + kid related is measured in 30 minute increments.

After that you've got a sidekick for all adventures, and your wife will let you do any amount of wheeling, camping, whatever, as long as you take the sidekick. Which is fantastic.

I'll have Gray Man Fab make a half height rack for the tent and 2 tires, then find some canvas for a cover.

With your luck, a tire and two rims may be the better way to go.
