    Yes. Yes please.
Well what I'm after is a possibly less brutal way to do it. I've looked at my 2015 setup for all the crap I'll need to gently bend, remove/avoid.

I'm thinking systematic cutout plates that can be R&Rd as needed for work/maintenance. But that would mean understanding how much and where to cut out, ideally in straight lines, and possibly fabricating some doublers to provide structure for fasteners and retain some structural continuity and strength. Being able to study some pics would give me a better idea if this is even feasible to explore further.

No need for car chases in Alameda. Cop at each of the 4 bridges and another at the tunnel. Unless he has a yacht.

Glitterdick! You are way over thinking this. The bending of the fender well is very minimal and once the inner fender flappy things go back in you can not tell.

LOL OK. I've often heard "BENDING THE SHIT OUT OF THEM"

Plus I've probably spent too much time around aircraft. :anonymous: :plane:

Honestly, when I looked, I thought UGH this will suck. But since you have a 2015, and you suck a mean dick, I'll trust you.

I only cut and bend the shit out of other people’s junk but when it comes to mine, I am much more careful. :anonymous: I used a large pair of channel locks and a large crescent wrench to gently massage the panel. There is one bracket held on with a 10mm and a couple plastic clips holding some wiring that needs to be removed, then the bolt can come out. I have had mine in and out multiple times and a second set of hands is very helpful.

Exactly! Just like how Peter doesn't have any scars on his arms. Not that you can see through his fur, anyway ;)

Yeah, that's what I understand as far as tools, general sheet metal persuasion. It looked like one side is tougher than the other, passenger maybe? And some brake line shit to gently move aside.

I was going to get one larger set of channel locks for this, and I have a 12-in Crescent that should suffice, right? Shit, I might even have a bigger one that I put in my hitch crap tool box.

    Some really cool shit

When I was a kid, my cousin and I were ripping it up on his Yamaha 360 Enduro at a local school yard. We got pinched by a cop. My cousin said he could easily have out run him. Cop tells my cousin, "You can't out run a Motorola, son."

Fortunately, he just gave us a lecture and sent us home.
