Woah, thanks for the info! Back in 2012 when I lived in billings, I had to pay like $360 for a year for my new jeep... something must have changed.

Sumthins not right, I paid about $370.00 to license my 2017 in Sept. This was a first time registration on a new truck so that may have something to do with it.

ETA Your cost might have something to do with being .mil as well

It was most likely due to your transfering here and having it already licenced.

Dang throwing money!!! No I haven't. I don't think I will. 488's and ECT mode don't drive too bad. I cant wait to hear your experience with it

From what I am reading it sounds like a big improvement, and the M/T version is still in it's first version. I hope it's worth the price...

Howdy folks...I'm Chris. New TW member here checking in from the Flathead Valley. Just want to say hello!

I've got this on my calendar and will do the scenic overlook group as well. Hopefully we can meet up! If you ever want to head to Wild Bill sometime just shoot me a message.

I'm a little bit closer, just a few hours up North. If you all do a trail run or an overnight trip ever let me know, would love to tag along.

I'm Dan. As it turns out, I have to work the day of the Snow Bash. I'm taking the following week off work. I generally have off wed-fri and wouldn't mind a drive through Wild Bill. Have you been up there? It's no joke.

Yeah, I went up this summer and spent a day exploring the trails. Been meaning to get back. It's no joke, with the rocks and a few sections with steep switchbacks. I did appreciate that they have bypass sections around the more gnarly traps and obstacles. I was pretty conservative since I was alone and stock; now that I have some better tires and armor it would be fun to go back with a few other rigs. That said, I was really impressed with the Taco's stock capabilities.

For anyone who is curious, here is a page with more info on the Wild Bill system. It's about 45 mins SW of Kalispell up on Blacktail Mountain. It's open year round and my understanding is it's open to dispersed camping if you wanted to make it an overnight when the weather is nicer.

Welcome! I would love to make my way up north to do some more exploring. You should check out our page on face book Montana Toyota off road. That way you know of any trips that pop up.

Thanks Chase for the heads up. I edited it and set up as a link. You can also cut and paste the URL into your favorite browser. There are some good drone shot around the Bozeman area and SE end of Gallatin Valley.
