I'd take it back to whoever wired up the fog lights. They obviously got something wrong

But on a second note... why do you park your truck with the key in the ignition??? Kinda weird man

He tapped off the door, bed or headlights circuits so they remain on for the 15 seconds every time he goes out to look at how awesome his new truck is! No Linda Blair here, just a guy who loves his truck and opens the door a lot. Try turning off from auto the headlights and be sure all the doors are shut tightly, with truck locked. And see if it happens again. You may have a lose, defective or faulty door switch or just wind. Seeing as you had to trial and error the switch and the lights, maybe, just maybe the electrician needs to try again with the wiring.

I believe he tapped into the headlight circuit but will check. We do love the truck that's for sure!

It's happening at about 445 to 500pm each day after the truck has sat for anywhere from an hour to 8 or 9 hours. Maybe she is just anticipating my arrival home......lol

Maybe a toddler in the house loves your keys. Good luck. A possessed Taco is worth more anyway.

No toddlers....unless cats and a pet groundhog count...lol....and the truck does NOT have keyless entry (the only thing that we dislike! Why have power locks and no key fob!? and yes we can add it but the only way to do that (I think) is remote start which we don't want.)
