    Only the best.
There should be at least 1, but most of the time 2 rubber o rings on the injectors.1 at the bottom 1 at the top. If you rolled one on the intake side then it would cause the surge. But still dosnt explain your miss. Go to advanced and buy a compression gauge. Got mine for like $8 from them. Then call me and ill walk you through checking it. If you want to that is. Did the miss move ?

There are 2 per injector, one smaller on, one larger one. What do you mean by rolled one? like it rolled off the injector?

I don't know if the miss moved because the CEL hasn't come back.

I am probably just taking it to my mechanic tonight man. I don't have much time right now to fool with it.

crank it and let it idle, then get a can of starter fluid and spray it around the injectors, if it chokes down that is where your vacuum leak is.

I am available tonight and tomorrow night (which has been ruled out) - I am heading back to Georgia on Friday afternoon.

I realize tonight is short notice, but I'm game if anyone else is.

Or, we could schedule a day next week.

I'm just taking it to the mechanic lol. Easier and less stressful for me.

I'll have to vote next week on that one.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
ive never had the pleasure of driving a rotary or even riding in one. looks like a lot of fun though! looks good and sounds good to boot. that body style has aged well. just bigger turbo and injectors? i dont know anything about rotaries. how much power could people push before they blew? looks l,ike it would keep up with a 600-1100hp supra since they both run the same times

Put it this way my car only weighed 2200 it had dynoed 545hp to rear wheels and 500 ft tq. The torque curve on those things never stops all the way to 11,500 rpm’s Mine was fully built by rx7 store. I had larger injectors 76mm turbo single, methanol injection, racing corner seals, Apexi on board tuner and a whole lot of other stuff. I could have turned it up more but couldn’t get traction 25 lbs of boost was the sweet spot with the above hp. It was a low 9 second car quarter mile when I got traction on slicks. Complete custom suspension and trac bars running slicks. My engine was a 2 rotor but could hold 550-850 on 93 octane with the methanol injection and turbo turned up. My top speed on the highway one time was 170 in 4th gear and had another gear to go. I never did it again needless to say. My buddy and has it now and is getting whole car painted battleship grey and rebuilding the motor. That race motor lasted 25,000 miles before one of the corner seals went out. I gave it hell ever time I got behind the wheel and on track. I could be going 70 on interstate and leave black marks 300 ft long clutch kicking it if tires were not heated up good. There was no driving in rain or even damp this thing would not stop spinning even will all the suspension work and adjustments. I tell you if I ever have the money I will buy her back or build another. I have rode in some fast drag car Camaros, Chevells, vipers, porshe, Trucks including a 1100 hp 4x4 Cummins etc none scares me like the rx7 did. I even raced street bikes and beat there butts at a role race.
