Meh, they don't do it for me. They're nice looking, but for the money I'd rather have a full size.

Student loans have a special place in hell. I am close to paying mine off. I made interest payments in college with leftover money I made from summer jobs / internships and I overpaid the shit out of my loans the first 4 years. I think my next payment isn't due until like the summer of 2020 if I wanted. I now make $500-$1,000 payments every couple of months depending on what my quarterly bonus looks like.

 

Having a paid off vehicle is the way to go. Very nice not having a payment. And when I you need to replace something I don't feel bad upgrading/ easier to justify with the wife cause it's basically maintenance at that point

Yeah... but MA sucks for multiple vehicles. You have to pay excise tax on a vehicle every year, just to own it. Excise tax, insurance and registration fees alone just make me not want to own a second vehicle.

 

They are undeniably the best sounding diesel engines in the 3/4 and 1 ton category.

 

Leaving work for the day... up to 279 inbound emails today. kinda "slow" compared to yesterday's 370+ total.

But I'm sure I'll get a shitload more after I leave, so...

 

Never had a vehicle that fit into the first 5 years for excise tax, but both my trucks is $90 a year in tax and insurance for me, with full coverage is about $180 a month combined, I also have not gotten all my price breaks yet, but have a merit rating of 98, best is 99 I believe

 

It's the same in RI.

 

Jason @replica9000 still pays something like $700 a year just in taxes and his truck is an '08. You guys complain about MA

 

I know, it's just principle for me. Insuring a second vehicle isn't terrible because they realize you can only drive one at a time. The separate excise tax makes no sense (excise tax in general doesn't make any sense to me).

 

I hate excise tax. My 97 T4R was the most expensive vehicle in my house for tax when I had it
