I tore the back half of my interior apart chasing a rattle that became worse after I put new speakers in.

So far it seems I’ve fixed it.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
It is an old trick and also a very risky one as well

You put the stereo together wrong if it isn't getting loud enough to cover those noises haha.

Oh it’ll cover them, just when the volume isn’t up it’ll rattle like crazy.

Fingers crossed its just a bad battery. I'm hoping Oreilly's will give me a new battery since this one's only a year old. Worst case I'll swap an alternator I guess.

your aware that the LCE tundra kit is the 199mm ones yes? And that is why your front brake lines don't have banjo bolt ends because the 199 calipers use a small hard line that comes out of them.

I think those will be too short to use even with an adapter.

I was just about to say, what's wrong with @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc brake lines? They worked for me!

Don't the 231mm calipers use the hard brake lines too?

These are the brake lines I took off a Tundra with the 13WL. They look the same to me.

I just tried it on the caliper. Seems to fit fine, the bolt is a little too long but that's how it looks on the stock 13WL lines I got from a Tundra.

The 13wl calipers technically should use a hard line as well, the larger banjo bolt just happens to work. Those lines do look awful short though.

Edit: just saw that he got the hard lines as well.

I have no idea. I bought them from LCE with the 'added 3" length option' so the lines are a little longer than stock length. I sold a pair of Tundra brakes from a 13WL truck last week and the hard lines look identical to me. Can't speak for lengths since I don't have them anymore.

The hard lines from LCE fit just fine on the 13WL calipers.

If you have the hard lines you should be okay.

But I seem to recall that there is potential for clearance issues depending on the wheels.

    Give it a go though!

Yeah I gotta say I'm worried about the wheels. The 3rd gen wheels I'm running have way less backspacing than the stock 1st gen 16" wheels. Hope they fit.

Wonder if it is truly possibly to fit tundra calipers with a 15" wheel... I have 15s and obviously had to run wheel spacers but only .75s... but could you run a huge wheel spacer and somehow fit the tundra calipers in? One can only dream

@mechanicjon makes paper templates you can print out and try. In my case, my stock 15" alloys were too narrow to fit the calipers.

I have stock calipers and 15" steels and had to run a .75 ... I'll have to hit him up... you would prob end up just pushing the wheel way too far out

Only certain 15" wheels clear the calipers.

You might be able too with a 2" wheel spacer haha so not worth it.

My wheels are 16x8's w/ 4.5" of BS. The 13WL calipers barely cleared. When I get my wheels balanced, the weights have to be spread out. If not they'll hit the tip of the calipers. Found that out one time.
