The idea of having it in front is so that you can clean it. Where I am, you can get slush, ice and crud accumulation that will attenuate the millimetre wave signals coming in and out of it. You want to scrape that off before you drive off.

Mine was just accepted today as well. Hoping for a good outcome for both of us:fingerscrossed: I tried asking for a partial refund since expedited shipping was advertised but no dice.

The prices here are obviously good but I would have easily paid another 40-50$ to know that it was already stateside and that i could get the grille shipped to my house in 2-3 days max.

Got mine installed. I too had to dremel the area where the two screws are. No big deal, easy fix.

I also have just a tiny gap on the top on the left and right side, but it's only noticeable if you're close and looking dead straight on. Not a big deal. Other than that, it looks awesome.

    Installation Note:

I see a lot of videos trying to reinstall the grille assembly starting at the bottom and pivoting towards the top. It's a pain with the thin tabs on the bottom.

I actually aligned the top and pivoted down. Everything went smooth as butter that way and snapped right in.

Those 2 screws are a small issue but relatively easy to handle. Other points of emphasis
    1. Have a work space that has a towel or a blanket--i scratched my assembly (totally my carelessness)
    2. To avoid breaking clips work slow and don't rush. I also worked on the recessed clips to remove the outer ring first and then I did the others. Work carefully and slowly and don't force it. Sometimes you just need to press harder. They all came out relatively easy and my old grill still has all its clips
After installing it I made another short video. Lots of what I say has already been mentioned but just want to throw out another perspective out there. Apologies at my crap video taking skills and having a dirty lens. Video editing isnt my thing. Sorry.

Yup go slow and the clips for the existing grille should come out fine. Didn't break any of mine.

Ok, just installed my 1 piece. We are supposed to have extra screws right? Mine appears flush. I can't believe some people paid 400 bucks for this crappy plastic lol.

The 8 screws for the chrome surround will be left over.

After I installed mine, I noticed it was fitting similar to that, but not quite as bad. I knew I had taken time to ensure the tabs all were secured (or so I thought)
I thought to myself, "oh well it still looks pretty good".
I then gave the corner a good shove and it clicked into place. Perfect fit now.
Moral...... You might check and ensure it's all snapped into place.

    Cheers
