    Those were the days.

In other news, got my Yakima tracks installed on my cap. Would have been easy if I had ordered the 42" tracks instead of the 54", and/or if the hardware that came with it was long enough to go through my shell. Having to make a trip in the middle of a project to pick up hardware is getting old... and habitual.

Have those and hit consistently with them at these distances. I think everyone should learn to shoot rifles with iron sights before moving to other optics. However, I am looking for something to replace an eotech I am moving to my ak.

Schmidt & Bender- I will put a couple on my Christmas wish list and see what happens

Aimpoint - I do like their micros and may go with one for this setup. Have you ever shot with their cheaper "carbine optic"? Wondering how it compares

Eotech - Moving an old one over to my ak. This thing has been bomb proof for over 8 years, but battery life sucks compared to aimpoint

    Will check both those out.

I am pretty sure I have never done a project where I haven’t had to go to Lowe’s at least once in the middle of it...

I have a Burris MTAC 1-4x on mine mounted in a LaRue Tactical 104-30 Mount. Damn good optic for me.

But I think Vortex makes one similar is the prettt nice as well.

Got a link to that or something so I can make sure it’s the right one?

What’s the harm in throwing them up for sale/free or trade? I’d hate to see them in a landfill (not that I literally ever would). Everything plastic that you’ve owned and thrown away is still on this earth (and will be for thousands of years). I’m not here to tell you how to live your life, but I AM going to suggest repurposing plastic in any way possible.

    I’m not a hippie, I swear.

I'm not familiar with that one, but IIRC, the Patrol Rifle Optic is basically a M68/CCO. Either way, they'll all be fine.

I forgot to mention Trijicon's MRO. I have on on my SBR, and it's fine too.

Nothing wrong with giving it away for free if there's someone that wants it. Throwing it away in the recycling bin is where it would actually end up.

Keep it. When you build a tube buggy, put it on the front, and now it's a Jambo approved Toyota buggy.
