What's the chatter on the 2018's?

Just for the record, I have talked to a regional rep from Toyota, and I got confirmation that Toyota will allow you to lift your vehicle and its up to the specific dealer at their disgression on whether or not it will void your warranty.

So a lot of the information you get is going to have a lot to do with what dealership you are dealing with and how much work they are wanting to put into giving you what you want lol

 

If I give you the phone number to my local dealer, would you call them and explain they need to up their game?

May I add that if you go this route and you discuss this with your dealer, please get it in writing and have your salesperson, the sales manager, and maybe even the service manager sign this. I have heard too many times from a customer, ¨My salesman said _________¨. And then when you go ask the salesman he doesnt remember that conversation very clearly. Just a cover your ass type thing.

Is black the only color available for leather in the TRD OR/Sport models? I actually like the brown.

So that’s a yes? Replacing my old 00 trd off road v6 manual, I gotta have a standard trans so the limited is out. Guess I can make do without the leather too. The black leather looks real nice but it gets too hot for me in the summer. I have a car with black leather and it just bakes in the summer time.

It is a new Offroad package - 4runner Pro Wheels, nitto Tires , nfab rkr rails with steps , Trd skid, and blackout emblem package, all weather mat package $3799, port option

 

Carlsbad Toyota. Total msrp sticker after destination was $39665 and my purchase price was $37,900. So not a huge discount, but considering it's the first 2018 in cement they received I was satisfied. Just dealt with the fleet manager via email.

 

I would be happy with that, my build arrives next week and I would be happy with that price..

 

Are all the 2018 automatic trans with the premium package also coming with JBL audio? I wanted the leather seats, but didn't want the JBL package. I know for 16 and 17, JBL was just an option on top of the premium package, I'm hoping they didn't change that choice.

 

Yes. JBL is automatically included in the Premium Package. Last year it was around an $800 upgrade, so just take it off the price of the Premium Package for everything else you get. For 2018, it's either Premium...Tech...Both...or Nothing.

 

What Trim Level is this? And what configuration?

 

Did you have a trade involved? I walked on a 2018 cement because the trade went south. Luckily, I have another one arriving this week.

EDIT: That sticker looks a little questionable..."OC" For for Off-Road? And why isn't that a line item?

 

OC says Off Road included in the price according to the Price Thread up in the Sticky Section
