do you go with buckshot or slugs for shotgun? My first deer ever was an island blacktail and I walloped him with a slug. Didn't ruin any good meat but obliterated his rib cage and internals. I was thinking about buckshot to the head if I do shotgun again.

    Can't use buckshot in Ct.
    I'm using a Savage 220 in 20ga. shooting 2 3/4 in. Remington Accutips.
I'm pretty impressed with that setup. 20ga. is a powder puff compared to my 12ga. days.

Ct has lots of stone walls. They all have openings and that's where the runways are.
Pick a spot where there's old bar ways in the walls and they'll go thru. They like to run the walls.
This mornings spot. Openings in walls are 70 yards ahead.

Made a few purchases off this website over the years. It offers all sorts of hunting gear at flash sales.
If this post saves someone some $ like it did me it was worth sharing.
