I am going to buy some OR alloy wheels and I have heard that the TPMS from the steelies fits for some people and not for others. Anyone care to set me straight. If I cant use the sensors the tire shops want $400 for new sensors or $200 to reprogram sensors that I provide. Does that seem reasonable?

People on here have done it. I asked two local Toyota dealers just to get their "official" opinions... Both said they would mount OEM alloys with my steelie TPMS sensors, no question. But, I've also read on here that a flat tire will likely destroy the protruding sensor, if that's a concern.

No. I paid $59 a pc(new) for the correct OEM alloy sensors, and $74 to reprogram.

The steelie sensors will work(flip them 180 degrees), but it's not worth the risk of breaking them in the event of getting a flat.

My gauge problems were kind of all over the place. It was mainly when I lifted off the pedal to exit it would jump in increments. It would sometimes jump around accelerating too.

I just got the truck back today so a little over a week of them having it. No issues so far! Definitely missed being up high in a truck versus the Camry. Although the dealer ordered the wrong part and it took a little while they were super easy to work with and took care of all charges on the rental as they should. Happy I got it back in time for the weekend too:thumbsup:

5100's all around, OME 887 with 1/4" spacer, icon 3 leaf aal. 255/75/17 BFG KM's on 4runner pro's. Rigid led pods. Debadged and tinted.
Glad they got yours done quickly. I need to take mine in, but some of the horror stories about the amount of time for the repair has me avoiding it. Mine is really intermittent, but I have numerous videos to prove that it does it. Hopefully that's enough for my local dealer.

The gentlemen I dealt with at my dealership said that the videos made all the difference in them doing the swap since of course they couldn't replicate it. I was impressed with the time it took since I have also seen some pretty lengthy repair times for other members.

I like the American flag Tacoma letters.

Is that a combo spot/flood light bar?

Where'd you get the light bar? 30"? Sorry for all the questions. It's on my short list of things to do.

Hey ya'll, this is probably a stretch but I wanted to ask anyway. Does anyone have a picture of their (preferably) white SR with stock suspension/tires (245-265) with Bushwhacker pocket flares? I wanted to see if it looks silly having all that clearance if my tires aren't wide, though I've read that it doesn't provide much more clearance than stock flares.

Also, it's only available for 2016 but I'm assuming it fits the 2017? Do our SR's have the required holes for installation? Because I read another thread where they were installing OEM flares on a non-flared model and some holes weren't available.

I don't know for the bushwacker, but I put the black OR fender flares on my SR. They don't have the holes for the tabs in the fender itself obviously, but they bolt on pretty well. Just had to use some double sided 3m tape

I think the Bushwacker flares utilize the factory holes and SR does not have these.

Has anyone done 6112/5160 lift on your SR? Or OME? Curious about how it turned out
