Just for looks? Probably not. 1/2" lift is 1/2" more ground clearance under front end.

    And 35's.

In line to have alignment checked.

I'll leave it where it's at. Handles great. Why mess with success?

Works been crazy. Supposed to be slow this time of year. Bought a RTT and Whynter fridge freezer (awaiting delivery), oh and I got a aluminum contractor cap. Still haven't installed my CB :anonymous:

Whatever it takes to get the best/most convenient way to do it. Think about the fun you'll be having if you're using the winch.

I have a few reasons to unbolt the bumper. I made a plywood stand to hold the bumper at correct hight. While off: clock control on winch (yes I can) shim bumper to frame bolts. (Get ends of bumper up a couple degrees) Change 20" light mounts....maybe. And...do some "testing" on oem fog wiring..

    Rock lights?

    Thinking about;

(Old school big KC brand spots....the big chrome ones......in/on front above bumper...)

    Nothing like em....

It never ends..... Made a list of body shims still needed to get the bumper where it needs to be. Will get them when I can.

Gear engage on winch can be clocked. Will be pulling bumper as planned.

For now, I'm done. Break time. Will watch mods for beer. My tools are on vacation for a while.

    Mod testing still in season.

Don't you just hate it when your "to do list" starts getting shorter?

May be painting outer part of grill surround to match cab color. Leave center black. Install 1978 Toyota Landcruiser grill emblem.

Or not. Gotta think about it.

Headlights I have stay like they are. Too nice to mess with.

I'm going to dismantle my originals and black them out. If that works, I have new lights. Fail? Toss em.

Much more black to go on the truck yet. Don't want to OVER do it. Still have roof rack, wheels, POSSIBLY my own design of front bumper loop/headlight loops....POSSIBLY a bed rack/RTT. And that paint job I was talking about....

This started off so innocent...Just a few changes. Then a couple more....and some MORE....This isn't going to end....ever....

I've got an idea for a grill guard/loop for the front bumper....Bolt on. (3" X 3" square pad on bottom, holes on 4 corners of each pad, then drill/tap bumper. Would be loop/light mount for my vintage Daylighters (Yes, the one's I have are black, NOT the GIANT CHROME one's )

I like the no loop look too...Tough choice.
