Hopefully get my first AR-15 (in the form of a build kit of course!) tomorrow from brown santa! :bananadance:

Already have the lower. Picked it up on black friday and now I just need a good sight. Thought about red dot, but now I'm thinking more ACSS from Primary Arms.

I think there’s another day or two of the Eotech rebates going on. Should be able to score a 512 for under $300, I picked up a 518 for under $350 earlier this month.

Any 7.5" or 8" freefloat handguards out there? Perfecting my weapon and that length would be perfect for a problem I have.

I do a lot actually, i was worried about it being to close to the muzzle but i i have not felt any burn from it, even with the fire balls

    IMG_5820.jpg

i did have to do some light sanding on the reciever side of it to get it to sit tight with the rail but that took all of 2 minutes.

Yes it is and i really like it, the only complaint is that with the plug that goes in the BCG i could not run my jp silent capture buffer in there so now i have a buffer laying around (must mean i need to build another gun) but no it works flawlessly and i like it alot.

Cool, I was looking at them for my AR9 pistol. I use a hand stop now to keep my hands away from the muzzle. Just not sure how I would like my hand at that angle. Need to find a buddy with one and try it out.

lol, yep. That's how it works too. I've also had many spare parts grow into full rifles. And now I have an extra 4x scope laying around so it looks like another rimfire AR is going to be born soon.

I have a vortex 1-8x that is needing a home and ive kinda got my mind set on picking up one of these for that :anonymous:

Do a larger hammer knob and maybe a custom leather round holder on the stock :burp:

Its been a couple years since I played with one but I remember thinking it was a decent upgrade to a standard Mil-Spec trigger. It felt smoother and crisper from what I remembered. Pull weight was still up there. If i remember right its designed to still meet the Mil_specs but be a nicer trigger at the same time.
