Question for you guys, I just got a kb voodoo rack and rtt on my truck and want to mount my fridge in the bed on a set of sliding mounts that I made. The only place it can go now is in the very back of the bed near the tailgate. Obviously it will get more shaken up back there as opposed to being up against the cab, but do you think it will get damaged being back there? It seems like the only real solution would be a setup like a bed slide so it can be near the cab but it'll take a bit before I can make something like that. For the mean time will it be ok to mount back there? The fridge is a sno master 65L if that matters.

I'd take a diesel hilux. Learned to drive in my dad's truck and that thing lasted forever.

 no experience running it, but I will say its a PITA to bend. lol Quality is there, and it'll hold up for sure. Honestly I like the new plate bumper designs ADD has. wish they made one for the 2nd gen.

I just got green lighted to put new shocks/coils on the 4runner. Also, the upper ball joints need replacing.... so maybe new control arms.

Its a 2wd family wagon, so not going crazy, just maybe 2-3" of lift.

The big problem with GM, at least in my opinion, is that their interior fitting is super low quality and always has been. Buttons flaking and peeling (an epidemic on the C6 vette, the one place it shouldn't have been is on their damn flagship sports car!), rattles, low quality brittle plastics... it doesn't scream "quality" despite the underlying mechanicals actually being reasonably solid. It's holding them back.

That's not to say Toyota isn't resting on their laurels- Japan as a whole seems to go through macro cycles of innovation and stagnation. If you look at their business culture it's pretty obvious why that happens- the balance of leadership teeters between the collectivist "let's all bring our best to the table!" and the status quo "keep your head down, drone, this is just how we do things."

In the meantime aaaaaah I think the hiring manager at the position I'm hoping to get was out sick for most of the week, meanwhile I'm over here sweating bullets.:annoyed:

Ear infection is like 50% better, can move my jaw again.

    Yay.

On the upside though: went and saw my surgeon this week, everything is looking great, no pain other than the discomfort from the incision so far. He said I can probably skip the hard cast and go straight to a walking boot, where o can take it off at night or for the shower. Still wants me to mostly roll on the scooter the rest of the year though.

Upside #2: New smoker comes tomorrow though, hoping to break it in this weekend! Have a bag of Traeger pellets for now, but will prob swing by @tubbsisland’s work after my VA appt for my ankle next tues to get their mix & pick his brain about stuff.

haha, would love to, but I don't think she will be happy if I go that big.

Thinking Bilstein 5100 3" lift with either Camburg or TC UCAs.

I have toy tech on my Tacoma. Love them. They are showing that the rear shocks are back ordered, with no ETA. I think either kit will be good. Options are a little limited for 3rd Gun T4Rs.

The stupidness that goes on in the tw fb group is down right not hilarious. The guy would repeat his question if someone didn't answer it entirely or didn't like what he heard. I'm sure parts of the forum is this way as well. Have learned to not adventure out too much though.
