I'm just going to copy everything you get. I dig those wheels. Any reason you put the rx in the waterproof box? I wouldnt think its necessary for a race rig on a SC.

wire management... i dont like wires so i tucked em into the box nice and neat. He gave me a rcvr box for some other car so i had to get creative on how to mount it. it works okay but i may eventually get a proper LCG box

the wheels/tires werent my first choice but they were premounted with pins tires so i went with them, Proline Caliber M3

I good tip for wire management. Wrap the wires around a pencil/pen or similar type cylinder. You get a nice springy coil thats flexable but still keeps the wires tucked inside. I'll post a pic when I get home of how I'm doing mine. I'll probably skip the WP box.

Nice! i didnt even think of that. i may take the box out if that works well, no need for extra weight on a race build

My SCX10 is here! I am going out to katy jackson trails after work to go play if anyone wants to join. Will probably be after 7 so it will be a night run, so bring a headlamp.

Its looking like the next dfw meet is going to be in plano and the rc poll is showing meeting up at murrell park beforehand, any objection to locking that down?

I also set the details for the race meetup on fri the 8th

I'm cool with that, but.... Looks like the location of the DFW meet is close between Shannon and Katy Ice House. I actually just changed my vote to Shannon so it's currently leading. If we go to Shannon, would Buffalo Ridge be more convenient for you Ft Worth folks?

I'd have to come west either way, so it really makes no difference to me. I'll show up at either place. Maybe we could wait for Zac to lock the meet down, and we can decide from there. People should already know it's the same day as the meet, so they can plan their morning accordingly. We can just try to keep it near the meet location so it's not too far out of the way for anyone.

Have you done any upgrades to it yet? I'd be curious to see if the 4 link and 45T motor make that much of a difference, side-by-side.

To get a brighter red put a coat of white underneath. That will make the red pop more.
