    I don't believe the Hunter mag well will fit in a factory Remington stock. It's designed to be used with the 700 Hunter stock. There's a spacer you have to remove when using the drop mag well with the Hunter stock. I just installed my Hunter stock and drop mag well on my 308 SPS.

    I don't mind doing some dremeling on the stock Remington 700 stock, it is old and beat up. Might just save the $250 needed and invest in the whole setup. How is the grip and shooting comfortably compared to the standard 700 stock? In your opinion is it worth the investment?

    I actually haven't taken it out and shot it yet. Just installed it last week. It's a bit lighter than the hogue stock I had factory and is a lot stiffer on the fore end for still being a free float. Still need to mount the scope and bipod.

    Okay i'm on the fence about a Gen 3 G17 LS would be a good deal but still on the fence of another Glock that I would need to buy more magazines for....

    I already have (2) 19's 23,26,27,30 and a 43....

    I Just hate buying more damn Magazines because I have to have like 30 for every gun I own.....

    I would only buy it because I can get it for about $535 bucks new.....
