This is also why your coils failed twice

Allowing the coil to go beyond its intended travel is what cause the first one to snap... fact.

How else could it snap? It went beyond its point of no return due to excess travel.. here is a better recommendation... IF YOU ARE GOING TO RUN JBA MY OBSERVATION IS RUN LIMIT STRAPS.

    LMAO.

Sorry Joe @Blackout14 , I guess logic and reasoning still loses when it comes to The Hunter.

And this again confirms that it ain’t just me. :)

What will limit straps do for you? The limiting factor on almost all IFS setups is the coilover. The UCA having more travel available to it wouldn't mean shit.

    Here are facts, no opinions.
Uniballs are far inferior to ball joints in most cases..
Ball joints are stronger. Metal to metal connection means no liner to wear out like PTFE lined uniballs.
Uniballs typically have more articulation in a smaller footprint, which is why they are used in MT and LT set ups.
BJs handle dirt, mud, road salt much better than UBs.

In most cases, a coilover may have more travel than the UBs or BJs have singularity which will cause the joint to fail and not the CO. It is typical and generally favorable to have more travel in the joint so that it does not bind. Typical COs used in an MT setup have internal limited stops for extension eliminating the need for limit straps.

If anyone wishes to refute any of these statements, please provide a link to a reputable source that proves me wrong. Your opinion alone is not sufficient.

That Bobby is an ass hat. Completely screwed my alignment up last time. Before that I’ve had to go back multiple times for him to get it right.

I hope he got yours right. I’m done with that place.

If I'm not mistaken the limit stop you mention above is what's removed to make an 'extended travel' CO. Doing so will make the joint or limit strap the failure point again.
