I'm trying to add aftermarket TPMS sensors to my truck, has anyone figured out a way to be able to integrate them with an app like Torque Pro to be able to read on your phone rather than adding a standalone screen to read the pressure?

Well thanks for the correction, and shame on me for not knowing that.

Since my '04 Highlander has one, I assumed Tacomas did to. (mine is ABS related, not wheel sensor driven, which I much prefer)

I guess this is another reason a 1st gen is a nice choice. One less bit of nonsense.

I would disable the TPMS if my truck had one. Very annoying and designed for the mechanically inept women and a huge money maker for the manufacturer.

Meh I've got one truck with it and one without it. The only hassle is making the steel wheel tpms stems fit alloys, but that hasn't even been an issue in my Dick Cepek wheels. Helps me keep tabs on air pressure once winter cools temps and I'd be running low. Either way it's one bulb pull away from not being there. It's not like it interferes with any of the vehicle's systems.

I saw the bluetooth ones that send it to your phone, but I wanted to integrate it with Torque Pro. I just bought an Android Auto head unit and found a way to get Torque to display through Android Auto so I thought it would be cool to set up the TPMS as well. I've looked through the Torque forums but it doesn't seem like it's possible unless you have an OEM TPMS system and you can integrate the manufacturer PID's through Torque.

It is a stereo, all your gauges are shown on the car's head unit.

Here's some screen shots of Torque on the car's screen. Way better than on the phone.
