Hey everyone! I've been lurking for a week or so and trying to learn while I hunt for a "new" truck.

I've searched every online listing I can think of within 400 miles of Cincinnati and have only seen 2 DC LB for sale in my price range. I prefer white or silver and under $20K but where are they?!

Lots of luck for under 20k! I found mine thru Autotrader last July at Preston Toyota in Boardman,Oh for 24k with 20000 mis on it. 07 DC LB 4x4. You would have to search for one with quite a few more miles to get under 20k.

Thats a rare animal, the LB DC. I've seen lots of 2nd gen Tacomas, but have never seen a long bed in person. Good luck finding one. May want to check ebay, auto trader.com, edmunds.com

Why do you want the long bed? Just curious

in the 2 months i was searching i only saw 2 long beds i think, they both wanted like 21 for them. if you know a sales person at a dealer they can check their auctions and dealers in other states. my dealer bought a truck from a toyota dealer in utah then shipped it to me here in colorado. gotta be careful with that though, my dealer didn't increase the price after they bought it (g/f's mom :) ) but many will tack on some more fees for doing that

They don't make a DC long bed TRD Off-road. Only a TRD-sport. (if that helps with your searching.)

Not many LB DC 4x4 around here in North TX. Lucky to grab my '05 3 hrs after a CL listing one morning. That extra bed space is nice for hauling home improvement projects. IMO, the LB make the truck look proportional on a DC.

That's right. I wanted a short bed DC, and had to get one from the U.S.

I'm really surprised. Seems like I see more DC LBs than SBs. Maybe I just notice them more since they are SO long! :)

It definitely seems like some regions get more than others ,

Thanks for the welcome and info guys:)

I think that the long bed makes the truck look really nice, and I do a fair amount of material hauling so i really prefer that "extra" space.

I've only found two recently within purchasing distance. One is indigo blue and the other is a slightly darker pearl red. What do you guys think about fading and swirls and such with those colors? Prices are 21K for one and 18K for the other and all other facets pretty equal. Mileage is a wee bit different at 48 and 62k respectively both '05 models.

Welcome to TW... Check out my signature, we are getting a meet together for the Cincinnati/NKY area. Beechmont Toyota has a nice blue one. Good choice on the double cab long bed... I couldn't be happier with mine!!!

MAX, wentt and drove the blue one at beechmont but those guys only came down $750! I walked. Funny thing is that truck as stains all over the seats, white paint splotches on the bedliner, and the wheels are corroding. The leaf spring tsb hasn't even been done. All in all a nice truck but with these issues alone I would have expect them to come down about $1500. I guess I'll keep looking. GRRRR!

That doesn't surprise me. They never come down at all on prices of used cars. I've looked at a few used cars from there and they were never willing to lower the price. Good luck with your search, and if I see any I will forward them your way!

it took my dealer 3 months to get my dc lb 4x4 in 2008. you see more long beds now but the short beds are still twice as many as long beds by me. good luck with your search.
btw the white sucks to keep clean,i hate cleaning it.its just as bad as black.
