I have a welder and poor welding skills. But I could get XP practicing on your exhaust system. Make a sketch, get the pipes, we do the cutting and I weld it. Home made Y pipe if you want...

Throwing ideas ... lol

Don't forget we are in winter. Maybe you don't want to crawl under the truck on cold af asphalt, or slush, and try to unbolt a fullu corroded exhaust haha. Cut, grind and weld, this is how most of the work we do on our trucks has to be done haha

I don’t consider it a downgrade. More droop, but less comfort at speed. That was one thing I noticed right away

 

So first off, I seriously can not dissactivate completely haha huge bummer but I will be doing the ABS kill switch mod next summer for sure.

I have thought about doing home made y pipe. My buddy is a mechanic and has access to his work after hours. Heated shop and has a welder with a lift which is ideal haha I do appreciate the offer tho! But I would much rather the URD y pipe hahaha

I have to say tha if you can access the heated garage with a lift then it is way better than laying under the truck on a cold concrete floor haha!
