All drivers installed with windows defender turned off.

Per your instructions I’m suppose to get the Dongle serial number...

I Just had to get the dongle registered. It’s a couple extra steps but not difficult at all.

@OVTune Are we going to receive a shipping notification for our orders? I emailed a while back about changing my shipping address for #2149, just wanted to double check its shipping to my billing address instead. Thanks!

I have been running 1.02C shift A 87 for a few hundred miles now

No noticeable decrease in throttle response
    No noticeable stuttering
Noticeable changes to D mode non ECT shifting will race up to 6th.
No noticeable shift changes with ECT enabled.

ECT enabled has 1,2, gears shifting just short of 4000 rpm which makes getting up to speed much easier vs D.

Noted MPG, city / highway mix - 16.9
    Absolute shit mpg.

I've collected enough data and tested to finally move forward with changes

    -downshift maps
    - torque converter locking, lockup,
    - power surge after 3500 seems to be variance in actual locking, where low rpm is full lock,
-gear lockout in D mode when trying to shift OUT of 6th based on torque request
(Ever notice the truck sometimes gets "stuck" in 6th? And you have to practically full throttle to get out) this looks like a shift procedure to go to 6th and proceed full lock regardless of load.
-changes to deceleration lock up, I've been able to change controls where to truck will FULL lock from 3000 rpm and below on DECEL, very noticeable decrease in use of brakes, I actually have a video of my coasting down in lock up and how fast you can lose speed without braking.

This is vs stock request of literally drop to idle and unlock completely where I am not seeing any noticeable control of engine braking on stock D mode. I know you guys complained about lack of good engine braking, but I'm not seeing ANY engine brake ability on stock tune.
These changes allow torque lock until right before idle, I was able to test engine brake deceleration as low as 1100 rpm, and unlock on complete stop.

Getting these controls * perfected* Will take some time

I know you will keep at it and I for one am excited to see what you come up with.
Just make the tune stick and not dumb down would be huge along with any other improvements you come up with.
Love the fact your committed to this and appreciate everything you have and are doing..!!

YES - this is one of the biggest concerns for me, the racing 6th is annoying in general but it wouldn't be as bad so long as it could "smoothly" and predictably downshift with a bit more throttle vs. bogging. I will say, the race to 6th (for me) is less pronounced with 1.01b than even stock and certainly the 1.02C shift settings. I know you made no changes in terms of shifting but it seemed the throttle changes alone held as a more reliable input and the downshifts are buttery and don't require near WOT as on stock or 1.02C shift.

Regardless this "feature" makes you seem like a showoff if you have passengers b/c it seems like you are just flooring it for no reason but that's what it takes to get out of overdrive. And on the highway it makes you seem like a jackass when you go to pass and instead of a fluid acceleration, by the time it does decide to get out of 6th you're revving way high in 3rd or 4th.

Glad you had some time to clock some miles and gather some good data! Any offroad trips planned yet? Overland build in your future perhaps!? haha

Already took it offroad in APEX in Nevada, to test out crawl control, 4x4 high, 4x4 low (I love how it feels in 4H honestly. So much better than 2w). Next will be Utah, Zion national park, next month.

This truck is embarrassing to drive on the highway on stock tune, it makes you look like a dummy when it goes 6th > 4th speed up >6th slow down from lack of being able to keep up > 4th speed up > 6th slow down in and endless loop

If a cat farts in Nebraska while I am highway driving in Kansas, the truck shifts to 4th. Its embarrassing indeed.

Yeah, I've never had an issue w/ 4H at all! in general I have never had a complaint about how it performs offroad - there is still an all or nothing feel in 4L at times but it does things most stock vehicles wouldn't touch! Thanks for your help in rectifying all the dummy driving these trucks require!

4-Lo Throttle maps are very very "dummified" where half the pedal = almost no change in throttle, and torque converter is full lock always

Is this why the truck feels like it’s lugging during low RPM acceleration in 4th?
