yeah, except your entire plan is foiled if 1 person out there is planning "hm, EJs house is good so when the apocalypse hits I'll kill him as he begins to build stuff and just move on in".

also, you are prepping for things that Hollywood has made you think will happen. I was kidding about TWD, but nobody knows what an apocalypse will be like.

Lol of course I started this out in jest but having a plan, some supplies, basic survival skills, first aid experience, ability to kill and clean you're own food is just batshit eh?

you guys brought up the living in the country for an apocalypse, which is just pointless. if you're living in the country because you want to, or don't like people, or less taxes, or whatever like that....sure. but don't tell me it's for an apocalypse like a dimwit.

 

I'm actually prepping for gangs, looters, marauders, bandits etc that actually show up when natural disasters occur, only I am planning on a slightly larger scale... also my entire immediate family lives on my road so there will be like 10 people there to help, and if we have learned anything from star wars, it is that the high ground always wins, and if we have learned anything from 300, it is

 

I will conciede that after a little while you would definitely start colonizing, but in the initial days a city will get you killed as people start running out of food and viable water.

 

so where do people go in the initial days if they see themselves running out? to the country to the "preppers" to kill them or join them. most likely the first, as a large group.

I cant disclose that at this current moment in time. We are still planning but we have dates march 2-4. I want to go to choccolocco to scout it as well Its a part of the route

After the tornados hit, we grouped together and made sure everyone who stayed local was taken care of.

We're about retired 65% mil/gov't in total residents.

I'm sure most of you will be more prepped than I am, and more skilled with certain aspects if an apocalypse does ever happen (it prob won't). That's why you make friends. I would be grouping up as fast as possible and helping anybody I can.


I was simply stating to say "tHe KuNtrY iS bEtTeR fOr Da PoCaLyPsE" is just kinda pointless in the argument. you can survive anywhere, and you can die anywhere.
