I am looking at the Fox Level 2 kit for my 2017 Off Road. Any one have any help on how much this lifts the front or rear end? My goal is about 2 to 2.5 in the front and 1 to 2 in the back. I've read some things about the back being too high with this lift kit but I'm not sure. Any help?

Well depends what you get for the rear. The Fox stuff doesn't lift the rear at all. The Fox Level 2 kit from headstrong does option a HS 3 leaf AAL or a Deaver single leaf AAL. Both of those are good for 1-2" of lift in the back. As far as the front the height is adjustable because of the coilover. If you don't touch it out of the box you'll get 0-1" of lift but you can turn the collar to get up to 2.5" of lift.

It says the coilovers in the front have a max 2 inch lift. Is that wrong? & I am going with the 3 Leaf AAL in the rear. How much lift should that give me. Basically I'm worried about lifting the rear higher than the front. when I want the truck to be more level.

Just got the level 2 kit installed, but went with a dakar leaf pack for the rear. My truck is completely level with at about 2.75" of lift

So when it says max 2 inch lift on the front that is not correct? yours is lifted 2.75 in the front?

The 2nd and 3rd gen tacomas share the same suspension parts so depending on descriptions and seller the 2" max could be the standard 3" lift for tacoma parts. The 3rd gen tacomas sit 1" higher stock than 2nd gens.

So just measured and it was 2 inches for the front and the dakar pack raised it 2 inches for the rear. And as said above, the 3rd gen sits an 1" higher than 2nd gen. It is completely level.

I would say don't get bogged down in the exact numbers. The Fox Level 2 Kit from headstrong will absolutely get you in the neighborhood of 2" lift front and back and you will be able to get it level by adjusting the front coilovers. It's a solid kit for the coin too.

I would recommend getting new UCAs as well as the extended travel version of the front coilovers if you intend to go up 2" or more.

No rubbing at all for daily driving. When off roading and flexing there is some slight rub (that is my next project). I'll have to check how many turns were made, but just an extra inch I lifted

And it could get higher than 2" there is still a lot of thread showing on coilovers.

Thats where I bought my Fox 2.5 RR 3" lift front and Fox 2.0 3"-5" rear with dakar leaf. They offer 2 shocks which you need to specify the 880-02-361 which is a 0-2" lift while the 883-02-025 is a 0-3" lift.

Below is a screen shot of Fox Shox website with the description for a Fox 2.5 with no RR. Note 883-02-025 is recommend UCA for pushing the C/O to 3" lift.
