    So ~20"s of cab overhang on a 1st gen with a 6' bed. Thanks.

    Trying to determine where the front edge would be in relationship to my ham antenna. Probably have to move it anyways as the tent may interfere with the ground plane.

    It's a lot of money but has a lot of very interesting features. Much more interesting than something like Ben got. I also like the ability to keep the contents of the bed clean and secure.

    Aside from cost, the only real concern is the higher COG. But yeah, taking a hard look.

    same for me. I don't think anything that high up will allow me to stay on all 4 tires really. haha But I showed Devin it(mistake lol) and for camping rig it would be nice. I really like how its a topper and tent. Bed is larger than the wildernest i picked up too.

    One more concern...at least for you..is you have to climb into the back of the truck :D Better shop for a nice stepping stool :p

    I haven't finalized the tube design for the 1st gen yet, but on the 3rd gen access cab (6' bed) it's 22.5" from the back of the cab.

    I have long yearned for a habitat but that is nearly twice the cost and an even higher COG as downsides. But yeah, I can see where Devin would love the idea of this.
