like toyotatacomaTRD says, they are bolted onto the bottom of the box. They are standard up here in Canada, surprised they're optional down South.

If the new Pro (and now OR) cement were that dark, I'd be all about it. The current cement color is too light for my taste. In some lights it looks like a dingy white.

No dealership would pay their car salesman the $5000 mark up above MSRP. That is for their own pocket.
Dealerships don't stay in business selling new cars. They make their largest profit from selling traded in used cars, dealer service/maintenance, parts sales, and dealer add ons at the time of purchase of either new or used cars.

Tacking on an additional $5000 over MSRP is most certainly considered greed. Anyone willing to pay that price is desperate for that vehicle, stupid, or both.

Yea, it's always a good idea to pay more than you have to. I mean, who doesn't enjoy that?

I completely understand that. Extra 10k though is a little overkill...if i go to build a trd off road with the options i want...it comes to around 3k less than a pro...I'm not stupid enough to pay markup though.

Let me reprint what I said.

"No dealership would pay their car salesman the $5000 mark up above MSRP.

Anyone willing to pay that price is desperate for that vehicle, stupid, or both."

So, in a nut shell for you.

The dealer makes most of it's money on the sales of used cars, dealer service/maintenance, parts sales, and dealer add ons, NOT on the sales of new cars.
On new cars sales, they make money from anything above their perceived invoice price to MSRP, dealer holdback/kickbacks from the manufacturer, and any other dealer incentives from the manufacturer that WE don't get to see.

The dealership will not tank if they do not mark up the price above MSRP. At this point it is just greed praying on the desperate.

Please keep politics out of this forum. It is not acceptable.
